I was genuinely hoping to be dead of natural causes before the “should we treat someone who permanently disables a police robot as a cop killer” question ever came up but I have a real bad feeling we’ll be having that debate before the end of this decade.

The damage in Moore Co NC was extensive, rammed gates, gunfire, by people who knew what to target. Curfew, schools closed, power could be out through thursday.

In other news, Chris Christie's niece got thrown off a plane after she persisted in asking other passengers she believed to be Latinos whether they were smuggling cocaine.

She became combative, bit one deputy, kicked another in the nads, and got handcuffed to a wheelchair, while pulling a "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM!?"

I don’t care how vile a person is or how much I wish for them to be imprisoned. That still doesn’t make prison rape jokes funny or tolerable. We should be better.

Last day of art class and a long absent student straggles in, chest heaving, pale and coughing up a lung.I happen to be in the computer/printing room-no windows or ventilation. She enumerates how sick she has been-couldn’t even lift her arms-and still coughing and struggling to breathe. I got up and walked out to the regular classroom.

Who should show up a few minutes later but her, now totally winded from climbing upstairs. I looked at the prof, and he dismissed us.

Hope I don’t get covid.
