Judge orders Ammon Bundy, People's Rights Network to be deposed
In his ruling, Judge Norton stated Bundy along with the others named in the suit failed to plead or otherwise defend against the complaint within the time allowed.
FWIW, by this point (call to arms) in the 2014 Cliven Bundy standoff, there were 10s of thousands of comments expressing support. In the days leading up the 2016 Malheur standoff, there were several hundred online supporters. In the current case, there's only a couple dozen people "liking" the posts calling for support.
I've been staying quiet on the Idaho situation so far because I didn't want to given them oxygen.
Here's an interesting video from earlier this month, when deputies served Ammon his court papers.
Ammon think he has protected his assets (the Idaho apple farm/home) from his civil case by "selling" it to an LLC in December. The mailing address for that LLC, BTW, is his campaign treasurer's address...
In the April video, though, he clearly states "Stay the hell off my property" and "I bought the place, not you."

Judge Norton stated Bundy must sit for a deposition by no later than May 24. Sheriffs have not been able to deliver papers, yet.
Update: Ammon cries while he tells his followers that he'd rather go out shooting than go back to prison.

@jjmacnab what i don't get is what he expects to accomplish. If he doesn't show up, the civil suit will continue without him and if he doesn't have representation in court, he will lose. That would be the worst case scenario. He'd be better off showing up and telling his side of it.

@jjmacnab Fascinating that Bundy is allowed to continue harassing St. Luke's yet Bundy complains that Court and lawyers harass him. Enough with the Bundy Family and their ways...
