As time passes, my respect for those companies who still advertise on Twitter is gone, and I am quickly losing respect for anyone who continues to tweet there. This includes journalists, researchers, news and charitable orgs, government agencies, academics, and so on.
They are supporting the hot, ugly mess that is Musk because they are addicted to their platform/follower counts.
Musk is successfully baiting liberals over and over and over and over. It's his plan. It gets him press and attention. You don't have to take the bait.
You can't shame the shameless, you can't change the narcissist, your engagement just increases his traffic and his street cred with his fellow RW trolls.
He bought the website. He gets to destroy it on a whim. You can't stop that.

@jjmacnab interesting dynamic no one is talking about. Support for Ukraine was bringing together many traditional GOP & Dem voters on Twitter, who were talking not just in tweets but on spaces, raising money lobbying etc. just before the purchase there was a focus on passing legislation restraint business with authoritarian gobs, more than Russia in particular China. Musk has broken that unity as liberals fled Twitter & the GOP Ukraine supporters stayed.
