Interesting note. British wore red. French (who backed us reluctantly) wore blue.
Accidents of history? Perhaps.
Never read a coincidence as a fact.

@feloneouscat Another coincidence: Republicans identify as red. Communists also identify as red. Republicans, traditionally Communist-haters, are now Putin-lovers, & they are more quiet about it.
