"Tweed feared Nast’s cartoons to a much greater extent than newspaper articles, because many of his constituents were illiterate, and he even offered Nast a bribe to stop these public criticisms. Humankind has two choices:

1. Fight climate change now.

2. Go extinct.

It sounds painfully obvious to choose door #1 and yet governments, corporations, billionaires and republicans are choosing extinction over addressing climate change.
