@Esther It helped me so much after having to leave my family who are still trapped in a Cult. I was just a teenager and so afraid out in the world, totally alone. And I was suffering from depression, having lost everything I had ever known. This book helped enormously, to accept that sometimes suffering and sorrow are our "travelling companions" but that brighter days are ahead. π

@JPSCHWEIZER63 Sucks, doesn't it? Trying to get through a day working on very little energy and all you want to do is lay down again, but you know that if you do, you will not sleep the next night! Ugh.
@poemblaze I felt tired all night. Was always "on the verge of" sleep. But the pain kept jarring me awake.
