Morning all. Still waking up in total disbelief at the state of the world right now. Humour helps.

"Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori." I had to learn this poem in school. But there is nothing sweet about what our men and women gave in the wars. It was a necessary evil. And it cost so much. Let us never forget how we maintained our fragile freedom. This week, I honour them, every one of them. Thank you. ❤️

I use instant coffee most of the time, but some days, especially when migraine hits, only freshly ground, freshly brewed will do. Today is that day! Pure delight! ☕
