Day 10
20 books that greatly influenced me. One book per day in no particular order. No reviews, no explanations
@process A very quiet one, of course!
@process We could make a band. The "Morgenmuffels"!
@process Haha, in other words, "I really don't know, it's just a clever phrase I picked up!"
@stueytheround Isn't it, though?
Day 9
20 books that greatly influenced me. One book per day in no particular order. No reviews, no explanations
@YouInMyEye @Resister_Grandma Oh yes, they hate Trump here! And not afraid to say so! Yes, that word is, unfortunately, used more than I'd like to see/ hear it, for sure! It's one I can't bring myself to say under any circumstances. But that pic does show how Scotland feels about him! Another word they use for him is "bawbag"... work it out... π
@kel Dey's in da poopies!!
@Resister_Grandma LOL, how fitting! In Scotland, a "trump" is a fart!
@Maude Oh that is not good. No matter who the person is, and I can't stand royalty, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I hope she's going to be ok.
@jordicusmaximus π π π Pretty normal then
@process Idiots got off work early...
@Minholkin Morning, sunshine! β€οΈ
I am looking at my choices in #20Days20Books and I can see a pattern! There are some that are just entertainment, and intriguing but others, those "banned books"? These are what we need! I was first alerted to racism with Uncle Tom's Cabin in Primary School. Since then, I've read what others have told in books about racism and dystopia. There is good and bad in humans, but we do well to heed the warnings when people take the time to tell us about them! I'm glad they had the courage to do so.
