Dakini' in Sanskrit and 'Khandro/ Khandroma' in Tibetan is the most revered manifestation of the feminine principle in Tibetan Buddhism.
'sky dweller' or 'sky dancer.' They represent both humanity and divinity in the feminine form. Dakini is the female embodiment of enlightenment.
The Dakini carries a staff, called a khaṭvāṅga,
skull-topped Tantric staff, which represents her masculine energy being fully on board and integrated,
the dakini's inner consort, her internal male partner.
Dakinis are messengers of truth and spaciousness, and are said to preside over the funeral of self-deception.
They are ambivalent, sometimes helping and sometimes harming humans, to caution practitioners to avoid dualities.

Here, the energy of poisonous emotions, or kleshas, is changed into the radiant energy of enlightened consciousness,
or gnosis (jnana), which produces rigpa (non-dual awareness).
