That Roy Moore is still viable candidate is also a damning condemnation of Democrats.

That they are perceived as being worse than a man who sexually preyed on children isn't a strictly partisan issue.

@kel

Please elaborate. Also please suggest what Dems can do to battle their demonization and dehumanization by a concerted effort via Fox that spans decades and has established a whole RW superstructure of propagandistic lies that’s endlessly propagated via radio, TV, quasi-fascist online outlets like Breitbart, Fake News sites, FB and Birdsite inundated with Russian psy-ops and trolls and their phony “neutral” wholly subsidized mouthpiece: WikiLeaks...

@TheAbbotTrithemius Honestly? A public relations campaign.

Why don't Democrats put their money where theirs mouths are? They support salient gun control, so why not fundraise for local municipalities so that they can host buy-back programs? Why not become champions for charities that are aligned with progressive ideals?

The lefts spends an inordinate amount of time trying to craft the next 'gotcha' on GOP policy, but how much worse do they need to make it look, really?

@mayday @TheAbbotTrithemius @kel
I don't know if the Moore/Jones race is the best example to use for your argument (which I mostly agree with btw). A big percentage of the Alabamian electorate just can't get beyond Jones' position on abortion and that is the only reason they're planning to vote for More.

@GroovySooz Democrats have a *very* serious problem when it comes to abortion. It's the one thing that is preventing them from becoming an unstoppable majority.

That problem? Their most vocal pro-choice proponents are too easily spun as being pro-abortion, despite the fact that *NO ONE* is pro-abortion.

That's another place where they've dropped the ball. They should be conveying the litany of ways that progressive policy reduces abortions. @TheAbbotTrithemius @mayday

@kel @mayday @TheAbbotTrithemius @GroovySooz

ok, what is your plan to counter act that?

Unless a demo says that all abortion is wrong, the reps scream shyt at their base and get the echos rolling.

Follow

@GroovySooz @kel @mayday @TheAbbotTrithemius @dawnling But there's absolutely a way, given that a big, reliable majority of Americans supports at least some legal right to elective abortion.
