@Flexi Just the camera mic is all. But I was very close to the water and there were no other sounds.

@99reasons4truth It is the same shape and size as a GoPro but it shoots 360 degrees at once. I can post videos like that or with some editing I can show what I think is the most interesting. In this case the parts I'm not in.

@99reasons4truth I often get in the water, but I took this with an Insta360 camera on a selfie stick.

@Flexi Thank you! The sounds are natural. I didn't adjust them at all.

@MrGoat She has faced a lot of obstacles in her life but she has never stopped smiling.

@MrGoat I made this video a few years ago. My daughter lives with cerebral palsy (a result of being a preemie) but she has never let that stop her.

@MrGoat Happy Birthday! My daughter was born an extreme preemie in 1981. She spent 3 months in the NICU at our hospital. Her mom passed away 2 1/2 weeks after out daughter came home. My daughter is now 40 and is a teacher in remote Alaska.

@WhoopassGirl Yes it is! She has fold some really cool toys for me!

@WhoopassGirl Thank you. My daughter has always been my strength. She has risen above so many obstacles in her path and she is my guide in this. She also adds to my photography addiction by giving me new equipment to play with.

@WhoopassGirl I was 15 when I first picked up a 35mm camera. Nearly 50 years ago. When my daughter was born in 1981 (an extreme preemie) and my wife passed away a few months later I shelved my camera. I dusted it off now and then to capture my daughter's growth but I had other more important obligations
. It feels so good now to walk these trails and follow the light.

The other day I shared an image from a nature preserve where I first learned to use a 35mm camera. The video in this link is from some of the trails around this preserve. I was joined for some of the walk by a member of the photography group I run.

Thought some folks here might appreciate sharing this walk too.

@Flexi Not necessarily, evening light can also be incredible. I’m a morning person and I love photographing in the morning light. I look for calm days with little wind activity for my best reflection shots. Usually as the sun rises and things begin warming winds will pick up creating ripples across open water. I’ve become a weather watcher over the years and I will try to plan certain hikes based on what the weather should do. I get fooled at times but it keeps me active!
