@Esther Thank you! I had an older cousin on my dads side who was an avid photographer. He is the one who introduced me to nature photography and he showed me this park. He passed away many years ago but whenever I am out hiking with my camera he is in my thoughts! I always respected his skills with a camera.

@CherNohio Thank you! I am so glad you enjoy my images. Until I can move closer to my daughter I will concentrate on the relatively flat lands of Michigan. I grew up here but after visiting Alaska my heart is in the mountains there!

@killagator We are lucky to have some beautiful parks around the state. But this park will always be extra special to me!

@Flexi Thank you! It was a still morning so I was able to get some nice reflections.

One picture from yesterdays walk. I went across town to the For-Mar Nature Preserve. This is the park I first learn to shoot with a 35mm camera about 46 years ago. It was good walking in that memory.

@CherNohio Thank you for your wonderful words! I know there are many here that enjoy walks in the wild! I am always excited to share my adventures with others.

I'm enjoying the cooler temperatures of fall!

I stumbled upon this today.
It was a pretty cool looking find for me.

Wrinkled Peach Mushroom

@stueytheround It does! The bridge is a rust red color and really stands out in black and white.

@Irishroze Thank you! I was pleased with this one. Soon the leaves will be changing and things will look different.

@Mauve_matelot I'm glad you are well and I hope life slows down a bit for you. I try to keep my to do list short. If it gets too long I grab my camera and go for a walk. The list is still there but I feel better!

@Gramdma2011 The community set a day aside in September in his memory. There is also a gallery at the senior center of his pictures. For me it has been an honor to lead the photography group and know I had is blessing right from the beginning.

@Mauve_matelot I'm doing well Thank you! I trust you are doing well also! Thanks for asking about my classes. They are going very well so far. People are very interested. I have a website for my pictures and I've set aside a section on there for the group to follow.. I am adding the things we've discussed for reference and expanding on things for them to use. I am excited for the direction it is going.

@X4o Thank you! It is one of my favorite spots along the local trail.
