@Mauve_matelot The trail we were on is popular with dog walkers so there was very little wildlife around that day. We saw a few birds and the trail took us to the Lake Michigan shoreline.
@voltronic Thank you!
@Flexi Thank you!
@Esther Yep, Frankenmuth MI! It is right behind the Bavarian Inn. It is Michigan's largest wooden bridge.
@Blackwolf My daughter lives in remote Alaska. When she comes home for a visit there are certain things, she looks forward too.
Frankenmuth - Chicken Dinner
Pinconning - Cheese
Traverse City - Cherries
Mackinac Island - Fudge
Plus, any little town that has a nice homegrown store.
@insomniacviolin Thank you! I will put that down on my list of places to see! This bridge is only about 35 minutes from my house. I was hoping for more Christmas lights on it, but I wasn't disappointed by some of my pictures.
@CherNohio I'm glad you enjoy this picture! Frankenmuth is a stop my daughter likes to make when she is in Michigan. If she is able to safely fly home for Christmas, she has a visit planned at the Bavarian Inn for chicken dinner.
@WhoopassGirl Thank you! It is a beautiful little town with lots to photograph but my goal last night was this bridge. I only wish there was a little snow on the ground.
@Blackwolf I'm a born and raised Michigander! Spent 32 years working for the USPS in Clio...only about 13 miles from Frankenmuth. I've had many chicken dinners there too! I was going to stop at Bronner's and take some pictures, but I spent two hours at the bridge and businesses were starting to close up. Plus, this time of there are far too many people around. So, I stayed off by myself and played photographer!
Here's another shot of the wooden bridge in Frankenmuth Michigan. I got carried away photographing this bridge and I still have more pictures to go through. It was a wonderful way to spend an evening.
