Here's another shot of the wooden bridge in Frankenmuth Michigan. I got carried away photographing this bridge and I still have more pictures to go through. It was a wonderful way to spend an evening.
@gettinaway I'm from MI originally...used to do the chicken dinner thing in Frankenmuth. Last year I visited MI and saw Bronners first time in my life OMG
@Blackwolf I'm a born and raised Michigander! Spent 32 years working for the USPS in Clio...only about 13 miles from Frankenmuth. I've had many chicken dinners there too! I was going to stop at Bronner's and take some pictures, but I spent two hours at the bridge and businesses were starting to close up. Plus, this time of there are far too many people around. So, I stayed off by myself and played photographer!
@gettinaway I have been thru Clio a few times....also you reminded me how much I would love to go to Northwoods to shop in Pinconning!!!
@Blackwolf My daughter lives in remote Alaska. When she comes home for a visit there are certain things, she looks forward too.
Frankenmuth - Chicken Dinner
Pinconning - Cheese
Traverse City - Cherries
Mackinac Island - Fudge
Plus, any little town that has a nice homegrown store.
@gettinaway
It’s been many many years since I’ve been to Frankenmuth. Thanks for the beautiful picture. 💜
@CherNohio I'm glad you enjoy this picture! Frankenmuth is a stop my daughter likes to make when she is in Michigan. If she is able to safely fly home for Christmas, she has a visit planned at the Bavarian Inn for chicken dinner.
@gettinaway if you're looking for covered bridges to photograph, Parke county, Indiana has a bunch.
@insomniacviolin Thank you! I will put that down on my list of places to see! This bridge is only about 35 minutes from my house. I was hoping for more Christmas lights on it, but I wasn't disappointed by some of my pictures.
@gettinaway
Frankenmuth Michigan....where it is Christmas 365 days a year.....🤷♂️
