@cassandra17lina If that happens, we might get another candidate. Crazy election!!

I'm used to having predictions of the clairvoyant type ignored also. 😉
If I were to have called NASA to warn them about the space shuttle disaster two days in advance of launch they would not have stopped the launch. I was mostly concerned about the effect on those school kids who would watch the mid-air explosion. I didn't want them to see it. I felt so helpless knowing nobody would take me seriously.
I don't have many clairvoyant events, but when I do...
@Priestess @gemswinc Wow. Thank you for sharing that. I was heading out of Port Canaveral FL on a cruise that I won as my company’s “Quality Employee of the Year” on the day of the original launch, which was scrapped due to high winds. The next day, our ship’s captain called everyone on deck for an announcement, which we assumed was a safety drill. Instead, he briefed us on the Challenger disaster. The remainder of the cruise was somber, with two of the lounges set up with satellite TV feeds.
@Priestess @cassandra17lina And indeed, school children did see it. The Physics teacher in my school had been a finalist. Science classes were all watching. Quite something, that you knew in advance
He's officially the nominee now though. Unlike Biden when he stepped away.
@tgraph52 & So? I'm not conversant in these rules.. @cassandra17lina
I don;t know RNC rules either. But it would be a different process to change a nominated candidate I assume
Wasn't it Ohio that was whining about not putting Harris on their ballots because the Dems' convention wasn't until after the state's "official" deadline to announce candidates?
I'm sure that a candidate dropping dead or disqualifying themselves in some way after that date is also terribly inconvenient for them. 😂
@gemswinc It won’t be creepy sycophant JD Vance, and Vance will NOT go quietly if he’s replaced.
