yes, i feel badly that he felt the need to step back, but his decision has produced an energy level that's indicative of the dignity and goodness of his sacrifice.
@holon42 I agree, it has also allowed the media to start to tell the truth about his presidency. I'm sure I'll never quite understand, why they waited. His stepping down however, has assured his place as one of the greats
