My kiddo ended up being so brave tonight. He found what he needed to comfort him (a hoodie, his Creepie (Minecraft plush), and my firm arm wrapped around him.
He got to see the moon reach totality for the first time in his life. His little sister will have to wait a few more years.
It's clear! And it's such a beautiful and amazing sight. ND kiddo isn't able to cope with being outside in the dark which is fair, so we're taking a break to help him settle.
Hoping to show the kids the #lunareclipse tonight. Stay away clouds!
