Good morning CoSo. Physio didn't tell me what I wanted to hear this morning so uh, not feeling great to be honest.

The only thing wrong with George Orwell’s novel, 1984, is that it’s correct title is 2024.

90% of Twitter's revenue is from advertising. What Twitter sells, therefore, is our eyeballs and our data, such as what we click on and what we like.

Counter Social has a way of generating revenue that's open to all--going pro. That's it. No ads.

If Twitter were a McDonald's GM, Nike, and Target would be the customer and we're the cheeseburgers.

In that analogy CoSo is a guy's giant backyard he let's us grill burgers in and do whatever else we want within reason.

They're very different.

It's 11pm and I'm cutting out the birthday invitations for my kiddo ready for him to take to school tomorrow. I'm nervous for him. His teacher says he's been pushing friends away and regressing socially. His has taken a nosedive. He's only turning 7. But he's a beautiful kiddo at heart and I love him to bits.

Anybody remember that news story when the customers in a diner started to pitch in and help? Something had happened and the cook was alone and the server was overrun?

Rather than getting cranky, customers read the situation and offered aid.

That reminds me a bit of CoSo. J is slammed in the kitchen trying to serve up the goods to a suddenly huge crowd.

If everyone pitches in with patience, empathy for context, and help when possible,

We’re all gonna get seated and be OK 👍

I have successfully got both kids off to sleep, on my own and even after losing their melatonin so wasn't able to give it.

Am I tooting my own horn? Yes. Especially with ND kiddo. Normally he'd be bouncing off the walls until midnight without it. It's only half nine and he's fast asleep next to me. 🎉

Lucky guess on that second go 😀

I've outsourced my washing pile to my 5-year-old, who is happily folding away. Probably doing a better job than me too 😂

PSA - Okay folks - we are currently under a sustained DoS attack - it's been happening on and off for 24 hours now.

I'm in the process of mitigating but expect wierdness - like sporadic downtime and inability to post until this attack is squashed.

I am an Aussie. If you think US politics is weird, far-right Conservatives call themselves Liberals in Australia. When Menzies created the party, he based on the British Conservative Party, he had the bright idea to grab the centrist vote by naming it the Liberal Party. Australians are still fooled. So many poor, working-class people stupidly vote for Conservative governments.
