90% of Twitter's revenue is from advertising. What Twitter sells, therefore, is our eyeballs and our data, such as what we click on and what we like.

Counter Social has a way of generating revenue that's open to all--going pro. That's it. No ads.

If Twitter were a McDonald's GM, Nike, and Target would be the customer and we're the cheeseburgers.

In that analogy CoSo is a guy's giant backyard he let's us grill burgers in and do whatever else we want within reason.

They're very different.

Anybody remember that news story when the customers in a diner started to pitch in and help? Something had happened and the cook was alone and the server was overrun?

Rather than getting cranky, customers read the situation and offered aid.

That reminds me a bit of CoSo. J is slammed in the kitchen trying to serve up the goods to a suddenly huge crowd.

If everyone pitches in with patience, empathy for context, and help when possible,
