I was officially certified back in the early 80s. Sorry, bro, but your proclamation isn't exactly news to me. 🤪👍
So far, so good. The pen drill worked well for setting the pegs. Hardest part of making this basic lap loom was measuring the spacing in bad lighting. Even with a neck lamp the counts on top and bottom were mismatched. Was able to make a 1cm wide band to fasten around the frame which was slid to mark both top & bottom peg locations in pairs, thus ending the one-off counts.
Spotify has some decent SCI/jam bands playlists. YT's are good, too, except for all the ad interruptions. Might want to check out Wookiefoot as well. Varied multicultural style with an overall enjoyable vibe.
Well, considering her whole fam damily... 🤮
My two wild neighbor bunnies like to forage in the empty lot across from my stoop. They seem to enjoy it when I'm streaming music through a Bluetooth speaker, so they're friends. Who doesn't strive to keep their friends from harm, right? Intervene!
One choice reply from elsewhere: "Ol knuckleknees always wears curtains or a table cloth." Why, however, is anyone's guess.
Arkansas State Governor. Not dirtying my TL with her name.
Yes, that is who you think it is. Sincerest apologies to the Amish and Mennonite communities.
Looking forward to the arrival of an early birthday gift to myself. First project, a basic lap loom made from a recycled wood picture frame, is ready to happen. Been fighting impatience; at only 8mm apart, hammering brads into the frame would likely split the wood. Why manual drilling? Focus, plain and simple.
