"Normal" is boring, but each to their own. What's simultaneously amusing and aggravating is when others try to rebrand one's weirdness when addressing it.

Them: Let's go with "atypical". No? "Unusual"? "Quirky"?

Me: Ooh. Three swings and three misses

Them: How about "eccentric"?

Me: That term is for rich people. 🤣

People who feel that they need to tell you, a lot, that they're "perfectly normal" are usually pretty weird, and not in a good way.

Normal people don't even think about being normal. People who are weird in a good way are happy to admit they're weird.

It's not really a contest between the Democratic party and the Republicans: it's an effort by anti-American forces to overthrow the Constitutional government of the USA, with GOP complicit, and Democrats defending.

New rule:

You can't tell me when life begins when you don't even know when an election is over.

I have a good source that Traffic light supply is about 10 months behind.

A needed rain band is approaching. Great, except that early this morning a major intersection in Mt. Home was forced into becoming a 4-way stop until further notice.

Heaven knows there's too many in the Twin Lakes area whose driving skills suck even in good conditions. And this on the last day of the Baxter County Fair, to boot. Good luck, dear townies!

Gut instincts don't lie. They may not always be correct, but they don't lie.

Even in a support role, the importance of having a good department feline shouldn't be underestimated. Baxter County Sheriff's Office lost their dear "Cornbread" several years ago. That lovable l'il purr machine is still missed.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
"Dissents speak to a future age. It's not simply to say, 'My colleagues are wrong, and I would do it this way.' But the greatest dissents do become court opinions, and gradually over time, their views become the dominant view. So that's the dissenter's hope: that they are writing not for today but for tomorrow." - Ruth Bader Ginsburg

If yes, next line of inquiry should be about acceptable water installations. Got room for a cappy hot tub?

Many security news stories' bark isn't as bad as their bite. That's not the case with the data breach. It's Bad. Here's what you can do.

Appliance shopping day! Son and I have our sights set on a chest freezer that's currently on sale at Lowe's. Hoping they'll waive a delivery fee, considering we're happy to pay $50 to haul out the previous tenants' nasty, old, failing fridge.

Yes, tenants are responsible for providing and maintaining their own appliances, so we brought our new fridge over from our old unit last Labor Day.

Also important to note: they have a nasty habit of turning on their own when it suits them, in direct conflict of their so-called collective ethics.
