So, it's been almost 2 years since my last go at #knitting a raglan sweater. Aside from correcting the neckband and adding an additional stitch to each sleeve cap, I've pretty much scrapped the algorithm generated pattern. Once one has an understanding of the garment's construction, and key points for desired fit, the process becomes fairly simple... Except correct stitch counts, for which I made a list. #YarnLife
Out of respect for our beloved CoSo community, I haven't posted much about recent experiences on other platforms. However, many here are aware that we rural CoSonauts often have to deal with the challenge of access to realtime info relevant to our respective specific locales. Last week, that subject came up in a private local FB group in regard to the ongoing mass migration to #Bluesky. This was/is my take.
The little cutie in the background begged me to take it home a few days ago. Now that I've found a nice planter, there's also a tiny, unexpected surprise. 🥰
Want a good reason to swatch your yarn before embarking on a new pattern adventure? These wonderful free #knitting pattern generators use your swatch info and chest measurement to provide a basic written guideline for the garment selected.
Sometimes, though, a little tweaking is required. For example, this P2, K2 ribbed neckline obviously needs two more stitches than what was cast on, per the raw pattern. No problem! This will be an easy do-over.

Well, it looks like Monday is gearing up to be quite a soaker. What condition some of these rural roads might be in on Tuesday is anyone's guess. Not worried about getting my son and I to our polling place - 4WD FTW!
Had the pleasure today of kicking around Mountain Home with my youngest. The fabulous afternoon rays at Flashbacks Retroshop made capturing this image irresistible.
Peace, love, and groovy vibes to all y'all. 💖
