22 loves Shin ramen, but doesn't eat it much these days. I hit my illness prevention go-to a few hours ago: a Nissan beef ramen bowl with a generous spoonful of Lao Gan Ma, and a diced protein when handy. Works like a charm.
These bowls don't contain much meat at all - maybe a tablespoon of pea-sized nibbles. It's more about the flavor, which is decent. The dietary factor that really matters to me is the carb count (15g = 1 serving, per diabetic guidelines). Average ramen bowl equals two servings. When I'm feeling icky and otherwise not inclined to eat, a ramen bowl acts as a delivery system for the Lao Gan Ma, which clears up congestion, etc. in short order.
@fugitive247 That sounds so good, I have to be careful about how much beef I take in cause of my cholesterol but I do so love a good noodle bowl anyday.
