He is demented.

“And that was all before he declared at a rally Sunday that he should have just stayed in office despite his 2020 election loss and failed coup attempt on Jan. 6, 2021.
‘The day that I left, I shouldn’t have left,’ he said at a rally in Pennsylvania. ‘I mean, honestly, because we did so well.’”

If you go by body count almost half a million Americans died in his watch.

He did so well?

He’d rather believe conspiracy theories than science.

Trump forgets where he is again.

"You have one of the best of all right here. David McCormick," he told the audience. "Where is David? Is he around someplace? You know, we just left him. He's a great guy." The thing is, McCormick is running for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, a state Trump visited on Sunday morning.

“In a slew of social media posts, a veteran Ohio sheriff’s lieutenant said he would not protect those who voted for Vice President Kamala Harris”

“The problem is that I know which of you supports the Democratic Party and I will not help you survive the end of days”

When people won’t do their jobs.

… you voted multiple times by proxy.

One person is not much. Multiply it by thousand and you are now taking about throwing an election.

This is the kind of dirty tricks I expect of Republicans.

Is it provable? Irrelevant, it’s perfectly legal as far as I know.

But people shouldn’t trust strangers on the internet with their vote.

Okay, I finally figured out the protest vote angle. It allows you to legally vote multiple times.

Let’s say you’re a Republican in a heavily blue state. Your vote is effectively nil. But you are working the protest vote angle. So you tell MULTIPLE people you will vote blue if they vote red. But every one you tell you pretend is the only one. THEY think it’s 1:1. When instead they multipled their vote by lying. This technically is legal. You only voted once. But EFFECTIVELY…

EU Green Party said: “Kamala Harris is the only candidate who can block Donald Trump” and Stein should support Harris.

“The signatories include Green parties from several countries in which they govern as part of coalitions, such as Germany, Ireland, Belgium and Spain. ‘The US Greens are no longer a member of the global organisation of Green parties.”

Will Stein stop her quixotic run for President? No, because it is Stein First, America second.

This is dumb. It is giving Trump the advantage and changes nothing in Gaza. “Protest votes” do NOTHING but give Republicans thr advantage.

A) it isn’t a protest—it’s just helping a Republican under the guise of a protest

B) it’s cowardly

I can’t prove it but I have long suspected “protest votes” have been organized by Republicans.

It seems to always be ones that would favor them.

But whatevs.

Let me help the undecideds:

• One candidate talked about shooting Americans. (Trump)

• The other appeared for a few minutes to make jokes about her name. (Harris)

These were voluntary actions. Which one do you think is more dangerous to your life?

“But what about Facebook and other social media?”

They had their chance. The only social media that’s lived up to this is CoSo.

Hell, @th3j35t3r would be perfect for it! 😁

If I was in charge of some things in government I would offer Musk $1 billion for Twitter, revamp it and make it a government owned entity. I would then hire the best in security and block known bot farms.

Once a tight privacy law was enacted THEN ensure a government funded and controlled security apparatus was set up that BY LAW did not monetize Americans.

This new version of Twitter would allow states and cities the ability to safely and securely run PSN’s.

Privacy would be secured.

They don’t want government involved because government bad. Except it does Social Security very well and all those war secrets? They’re secret.

You know who absolutely SUCKS at keeping private info private? Private businesses.

So anyone who says a CORPORATION is going to do better at verification AND keep your information private is full of shit.

I honestly don’t care what his bonafides are, he is just wrong. History is against him.

Instead of HUNDREDS of bad actors, we concentrate it down to a few bad actors.

Just like we did with credit authorization and that has worked out well, right?

JFC, this guy is probably lobbying Republicans right now.

What we NEED FIRST is a privacy bill like EU’s GDPR. Then, we can talk about a verification system.

These people love to talk about taking the remains of your privacy first. All for the low low price of more internet ads and monetizing your life.

When people suggest this, you can be GUARANTEED some will use it to track and monetize that information.

They will argue, as this guy did, “ Instead of relying exclusively on government-controlled verification processes, an alternative is for social media companies to partner with a vendor or create their own verification systems. Of note, a handful of independent companies already provide user verification for financial services and other industries.”

Tada! Problem solved… now instead of …

ORRR we can block the countries known to employ bot farms.

“How do we solve this puzzle? It’s time for a non-tracking user ID verification system, requiring social media platforms to verify the true identities of their users. ”

When people start arguing for verification WITHOUT safeguarding your legal right to privacy, you better do your RUH-ROH because they are not your friend. Today the US has no meaningful laws guarding your privacy.

This is a bad idea.

“VMware has seemed to focus more on its high-end corporate products and, since the introduction of Apple Silicon in 2020, Fusion no longer really competes with the annual updates to Parallels Desktop anymore. And, at the end of 2023, VMware was taken over by chip manufacturer Broadcom, which raised some questions about the future of Fusion on the Mac.”

I dropped Fusion when they started charging an arm and a leg. Went to Parallels and now use UTM.

So over it.

Microsoft says it dares to be innovative.

“In references shared on X from the appprivacy.adml file, it looks like AI-powered features in Windows 11 will be collected under the umbrella name ‘Windows Intelligence.’”

Huh. Sounds familiar…

Ugh, trying to build a dev build so that I can test my low level process and my high level process and for some reason clang isn’t seeing my -DMY-_FLAG_HERE … I suspect Swift is messing things up… <sigh> Or not.

Sooooo… Musk lied again.

“A $25k regular model is pointless… It would be silly. It would be completely at odds with what we [Tesla] believe.”

Ah. You mean you don’t believe in expanding car sales?

“We’re not making a non-robotaxi [model]… I think we’ve been very clear that the future is autonomous.”

How is that working out? He PROMISED autonomous cars ten years ago.

So, now it’s taxis that (checks watch) don’t work yet.

So much bullshit.
