"When we want to innovate. When we want to really, really innovate on interesting products, I have not seen an ability for us to do that when we're not in person"
Wait, wait… Who said, “Mr. Watson come here, I want you.”
Does that not imply they were not together?
If I was Bezos and a manager told a paper that there were days “nothing got done” I’d fire that manager — because it is obvious he is incompetent. Blaming it on working from home is a cop out. It’s admitting you don’t have the skill set. Worse, you are willing to blame ANYTHING but your gross incompetence.
These people are awful.
Oh, and DISNEY produced movies when people were working from home.
If you couldn’t “innovate” you either have a crappy team or you suck as a manager. Since you already indicated you suck as a manager, I’ll go with the “you suck as a manager.”
