Which is, of course, an incorrect reading of the Constitution where the President is held to be an officer because he is the Commander in Chief.
And it is idiotic to ASSUME that the writers of the 14th Amendment would SPECIFICALLY CARVE OUT the right of a President to lead an insurrection.
You literally have to be stupid to believe that.
In the US the President is not king and these judges are making really bad decisions.
That was what I was meaning by bad decisions.
There literally is nothing in the law that supports their position.
It’s all idiotic.
@feloneouscat @factivist_0207 I think a lot of them aren't making innocently-bad decisions per se... I think it's worse than that: they're making malicious/self-interested (on behalf of Trumper judges) and fear-based/politically-motivated (on behalf of non-Trumpers who are concerned about their safety if they rule to disqualify, or who are concerned that disqualifying him might lead to further violent insurrections/terrorism) decisions.
