“House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) won the GOP nomination for speaker in an internal vote on Friday, the second Republican to win the speaker nomination in the past three days.”

THIS is the Republican Party.

So weak they will let a conspiracy theory minority run their party.

This shows how ineffectual Republicans are in governance. Ten days and the only guy “good enough” is a sick puppy with delusions of grandeur.

This is disgusting.

We can fix Congress by voting Republicans out.

Democrats believe in our democracy and our government. Republicans don’t.

Next time government will shut down — because Republicans don’t care about our country, the Constitution or democracy.

They actively despise it.

Just another FYI:

Jim Jordan has not had a single sponsored bill become law in the SIXTEEN YEARS he has been a politician.

He literally has only had ONE resolution pass, the one for the “Deep State” subcommittee.

And they want this useless bit of furniture to be Speaker?

Does he even know what the Speaker does?

I’m serious — this guy doesn’t seem to understand our government.

@feloneouscat He's had years to understand it - he just doesn't give a shit about it.

@feloneouscat isn't he the one heading the "investigating the weaponization of government" committee which is just weaponizing the government against democrats?

@dietotaku

Yes and yes.

The subcommittee is literally weaponizing the federal government.

It would be hilarious if they weren’t so dumb.

@feloneouscat: He, like the rest of them, just want the power. Like Trump, they are all grade-school bullies' ideas of what grown-ups are.
