It's almost like Scalia was in charge of keeping the conservative Justice bribes to concealable standards and without him, they cannot control their grift.

For those of you wondering, it appears that Alito considers $1K bottles of wine to be "rustic".

As one does. Oh and this "editorial" is an advertisement for more "vacation" bribes.

I know this is on Twitter, but it is the ProPublica tweet about the Alito article, so...

It appears that the angle ProPublica is investigating on a meta level is how Leonard Leo provides conservative justices with sugar daddies to supplement their incomes.

Who paid off Kavanaugh's debts?

I would argue all the Conservative men are on the take. That’s why Roberts didn’t want to talk to Congress about it.

The fish stinks from the head.

@feloneouscat @Cosmichomicide--There is certainly enough evidence of GOP officials in our government taking handouts. It's despicable and unethical. And might very well be illegal. But I'd be careful to paint the entire party with a broad brush. The message of corruption within the GOP becomes diminished with generalities.

@s3friedman

I’ve been following politics for over fifty-five years and the fact that not one Republican politician in Congress is angry that Trump had illegally over 300 classified documents in his possession and has been showing them to people without clearance is horrific.

Yes. The entire Republican Party is corrupt if they continue to believe in Party before country.

When the GOP believes Trump should be prosecuted, THEN I’ll believe they believe country over party.

But they haven’t.
