@estherschindler There’s an author from the early 1900s whose books I reread occasionally. Every time I buy a new print edition of her books (because I’ve worn out the older copies), the reprints have THE SAME DAMNED TYPOS. Why does no one clean up the copy? It’s so irritating.

Sometimes subsequent editions will include an "errata" sheet in the back, but it's just a quick way of making corrections that will later be included properly within the body of the text. It's not so much the "fun stuff" though that editors and proofreaders get to see.
That's what I was thinking of
It would be fun to see a "best of" bloopers compiled by the editorial team. Even if it was sent by email, by request, via a link in the fine print.
