My new free article, this one's about the Lindy and Jlo trend, normalizing violence toward women. link.medium.com/ohb3kdG0HOb

@b4cks4w - Thank you for this! I was just saying that I need to look up class action lawsuits against Google.

@esaeger Seems Judge Amit Mehta agrees.

US regulators seek to break up Google, forcing Chrome sale as part of monopoly punishment

"Regulators also want Google to license the search index data it collects from people’s queries to its rivals, giving them a better chance at competing with the tech giant"

is my mindset. Some 20th century thinkers argued that capitalism eventually morphs into socialism organically. I think that's where we're going. This bullshit is so intolerable that only fools think we can all survive it. Billionaires, greedflation, etc etc; it's jumped the shark.

I hate Google with all my heart. It's the only major search engine that somehow doesn't think it should show my last book when you search for, you know, "eric saeger book," even though I paid plenty for Amazon ads.
Google is the great brainwashing Matrix Sentinel of the establishment internet; its mind-control monopoly refuses to allow awkward truths to infect the hivemind. It should be seized, re-engineered as a publicly owned utility, and managed by a non-profit body.

Our presidential election outcome can be explained by the fact that millions of voters placed a higher value on harming “others” than benefiting themselves and their loved ones.

Dealing with humans - just having them around - is so exhausting, you know? There's a guy here from the city inspecting our house to winterize it and make it more energy efficient, and he's very nice, but I'm used to ignoring my tiredness and working on my stupid stuff all day, and just knowing that I can't nod off in my chair or go take a nap makes me feel as tired as a WWI infantry soldier on the tenth day of the Battle of Cantigny. I'm totally delirious atm.

Hello & ,

I review albums/EPs for Hippo Press (40k print weekly in NH, www.hippopress.com). If you have an official release (independent/Bandcamp/etc is fine) please DM with link to music, bio and cover graphic. Preferred: no-wave, darkwave, jazz, trip-hop, but anything's welcome. Thanks!

My new book is out now; you can order it direct from Amazon/B&N or backorder it anywhere.
It answers your questions about today's "political social media platforms"; it's also partly "Radical Economics For Dummies," with a lot of stuff on today's independent "online news" media. Also has stuff on why corporate social media sucks and what's changing (I recommend CoSo and Mastodon).
It's not an anti-Trump screed, just a bunch of facts, take 'em or leave 'em.
Thanks!

Underneath the big head of hair, former Rep. Matt Gaetz has a "big brain" and is ready to become a "Hammer of Justice," the richest man in the world said on his social media site about 2 a.m.

Hammer of justice sounds so inviting doesnt it?

There’s still time to order an absolutely awesome pecan pie from Potter Country Store in Schulenburg Texas. I used to stop there on drives between Houston and San Antonio. The pie is a great “bring along” to a Thanksgiving meal (unless you’re dining with folks with nut allergies…) pottercountrystore.com/

@Madken65 - Don't know yet, he's kneeling in the morning's Libertarian Call To Prayer.

So predictable that even I predicted it. Musk and Trump are going to have a very rocky romance. Nothing the MSNBC propaganda crowd predicted will get done, and I'm here for it.

I’ve been here since October 2017. I wandered in and stayed thanks to the sincerity and engagement—People actually TALKED to each other! :)

I formed friendships and gladly welcomed arrivals when J threw open the doors. Over the years I have met more amazing people and made beautiful memories.

I embrace and continue to believe in my vision for what CoSo can be—a community of hope, inspiration, and possibility. I am here to help that grow and flourish.

Let’s do this 💛

@LindaWisner - I hope he's having luck with it! 😊 For my own books I use Amazon/Barnes & Noble etc for the U.S. and Ingram for worldwide.

@Blueway - Lol they put guardrails in the Constitution to *guarantee* the nightmare, like voting districts etc. The aristocrats in wigs wanted us fighting like cats and dogs while they looted the Treasury.

@LindaWisner - Yes, he absolutely would have, compared to the alternative we ended up with.

If the Democrats learned anything out of this, it's that Tim Walz should have been taking gulps from a gin flask while he was agreeing with every single thing JD Vance said about immigration during their debate
