@MidnightRider Excellent analogy. In dogs, it’s “displacement behavior” as in, “Look, Mom! I brought you my favorite chew toy (but did a poop on the rug.)”
@cassandra17lina When my dog got older, she had some accidents. I used to pretend that her toys were squealing on her. I would turn them into puppets who would say where she pooped. That animal was incredibly smart, she knew they were ratting on her and she ripped them to shreds. I miss her every single day.
