@opie 😂😂😂 I feel ya there
@Tattoomonkey29 sorry to disappoint its not Iran they wouldn't have gave them to Politico
Politico has been sitting on hacked communications from the Trump campaign for 3 weeks.
If it were a state actor like Iran they would be furious by now that they haven't been published lol
@th3j35t3r awesome movie that is
Funny as fuck & true story to boot
Kinda hilarious seeing all the headlines about Trump campaign saying emails/txt got hacked
😂😂
Blaming Iran as well and pointing to Microsoft is just ridiculously hilarious
That said why aren't the media feed dripping they emails like they done when wikileaks released Hillary's emails - everyday we saw "new revelations" from that "hack" now all of a sudden the media is being cautious 🤷♂️ and not releasing anything
@AnnetteTRemain And that "task force" NSOIT tried it during the pandemic and actually ended with them spreading more misinformation and disinformation around - it causes more trouble than solutions
@AnnetteTRemain That aside it still doesn't warrant a government crack down on what information we are allowed to see and not see - misinformation has always been there its nothing new - disinformation campaigns aren't new either - governments using them as a way to stop information flowing or certain people sating certain things, with laws/new laws etc, is not the answer in stopping it
@AnnetteTRemain the disinformation was one article mainly
The real story of the news website accused of fuelling riots
https://counter.social/@ecksmc/112927848950518658
And from that the campaign started from certain UK far right groups and bad actors from other governments
Meanwhile:
Keir Starmer “reiterated the UK’s commitment to a strong partnership” with Egypt under dictator Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who came to power in a coup killing hundreds 13 years ago and presides over one of the world’s most repressive regimes.

No serious anti-racist should accept that misinformation must obviously result in real-world violence, framing it as some kind of natural consequence. It is not.
The Government’s sinister disinformation unit is threatening free speech again
The group responsible for the secretive, politicised and sometimes unlawful speech-policing is back to deal with the riots

If you want CoSo app experience on laptop you need to create a PWA via browser, chrome or chromium is best, open CoSo and when on log in page tap three dots top right "save & share" - "create shortcut" - pop up will show top centre of browser tick "open as window" tick box
You'll then get a CoSo icon as a browser shortcut - tap that - that will open CoSo as an app on laptop no browser address bar - everything like bookmarks, pinned extensions hidden

@AkomoCombine the fact he goes after others for not "researching" a subject all the time, and he does a good job at researching stuff, and has a team behind him, just shows he's doing it deliberately IMO being dishonest & leaving out context, important context, is different than being ignorant to facts
John Oliver Compares Israel to Nazi Germany in Simplistic West Bank Analysis
Throughout his story on the West Bank, Oliver presented his audience with a simplistic overview of the topic, robbing them of the much-needed context and nuance to truly understand the subject
