When I saw this video on Twitter a few years ago, it really hit me hard - this is not graphic but listen to the emotion in the mans voice and listen to the words

Watching Star Trek TNG episode called "The Offspring" - when Data creates his own android lifeform & gives it the ability top choose it's gender identity, which it choses female. Thus Data now has a daughter. Unfortunately higher ups wanted to step in and control her, thus she eventually malfunctioned and Data deactivated her as a result. Once again Star Trek was ahead of its time as it tackled yet another real (if not difficult) life moment...
