@duglop It occurs to me we've had two of those things locking up our drawers for us, but we've changed our cooking methods long ago so that we never need to use it (BTW, don't boil potatoes for potato salad, roast them in the oven!).
I think those are going in the garage sale!
But potato mashers are so much fun to use!
i keep mine in a ceramic crock upside down with all my other kitchen stuff, wooden spoons, spatulas, etc.
it's the best for mashing potatoes, and other veggies too.
@holon42 ha - I could be a smartass and ask - are we talking about the upside down crock or.... lol - and yup, I have a separate thing to hold all those oversized utensils :)
you're right about stuff that locks drawers though. i have a few containers that like to do that if they get out of alignment.
