Something to keep in mind while doing spring yard work! Wrapping tape sticky side out around the ankles seems to work pretty good for catching ticks.

@duglop That's a whole lot of nope right there.
@duglop 😬
What a great idea! In all of the years that I went to camp, I never had an issue with ticks. But when we had a reunion in 2011, I discovered that I brought home 2 hitchhikers! I was totally freaked out! 😳😱😢
@duglop BTW, it looks like you caught a lot of those buggers! 😲
@Spagesgallo1 that's not me - it's from FB
@duglop Oh my God!!! Where do you live? That’s terrifying 😬
@Knitpurrl it's not me - it's a FB post - ticks are almost everywhere tho....
@duglop Whew!😅 I was worried for you 🥰
Only when they are crawling up from below your ankles or just reaching out to hitch on you at that tape wrap level. You can also use a tape style lint brush all over your clothes to grab the all the buggers too.
Ima big fan of Sawyer and Ranger Ready insecticides.
@thereg001 Nope, will never do pesticides - 100% against them sorry
@thereg001 This is the reason I am 100% against pesticides... If it can kill a dog it can kill wildlife

@duglop I follow what your concern is. I don't use weed killer or pesticides on my lawn either. Cuz pets and wildlife.
But I do use permethrin and Picaridin on me and my outdoor riding gear for ticks and mosqitos mainly.

@duglop Ticks give me the shivers… looks like an excellent idea, though!
