Star Trek I have every single episode of every single series including fan made series including remastered and original effects I just can't get enough of it...
Your turn!

@duglop

Monty Python's Flying Circus

and

The Twilight Zone

actually, nothing from the past, but I have watched Peaky Blinders through three times and Lucifer twice. I’m also on my second to go at SWAT. And I must have gone through criminal minds at least four times.

I would like to put Star Trek on in the background if I could, it would be very nostalgic and comforting. My dad was a Trekky (sp?) @duglop

@Armchaircouch close enough... Trekkie
But I need to add the following that I just saw online... “The term “Trekker” is preferred by some 'Star Trek' fans, as the term “Trekkie” is perceived to be a derogatory (or a diminutive one at best when used by non-fan family members) term, especially by the non-fan society at large, who consider Trekkies as being obsessive in their fandom.Aug 2, 2022..
And I don't watch today's television programs myself 😆

oh, brother! 20 years ago did people care Trekkies were Trekkies?

I wonder because I asked my daughter, and my niece, both in their 20s, what they think about the pronunciation of gif, is it a hard G or not, and my daughter said it’s a useless argument that sprung up online and a lot of people actually don’t care. In other words, it’s a waste of time to even think about, it’s among the useless internet gripes

I wonder if the current trekkie feelings are also a newer internet gripe? @duglop

@Armchaircouch actually yeah back in mid '80s they were trying to push back then for fans to stop using the term trekkies and start using those term trekkers but back then their also wasn't any internet...

@Armchaircouch there's been two series of SWAT. The first series aired in the '70s I loved that show I have not watched a single episode of the new series

OK that makes sense, I got the feeling that they were molding the theme song from an older police related show, it definitely has that vibe , @duglop

I’m a Shemar Moore fan. watching him has brought me comfort through my turmultuous dating times the past couple years, I don’t question it it just is what it is. lol! @duglop

@Armchaircouch okay I have no idea who that is probably because I don't watch today's television lol

yup that’ll do it lol
do you find the old shows on cable or do you subscribe to something that features them? @duglop

@Armchaircouch I torrent them, But you can find almost anything on Pluto or peacock or Tubi

@Armchaircouch okay let me correct myself, there are a few of today's shows that I have torranted to possibly watch in the future but I have yet to watch them... such as Halo Wednesday Loki and a few others...
By the way I see the typo in the word "torrent". This is what I meant when I said my phone is using words that don't exist..

mine does that, too, do you use an iPhone? I think mine does it because I turned off the language learning. My typos are out of this world stupid. But it’s not me it’s Siri @duglop

@Armchaircouch no never had an iPhone and never will This is a Samsung and it's bad enough LMFAO

@duglop There are a few that I will watch multiple times, but the one I will ALWAYS watch over and over is FIREFLY (or anything related to it).

@codeWhisperer oh I could add a lot more to that list... Emergency was another one... that show inspired both my father and myself to become firefighters..
