For being the first chili I've ever made, this turned out pretty good. Next time I'm going to use bigger tomato chunks, but that's the only thing I'd change.

So I made khao soi and holy cowsocks this recipe was spicy. The picture on the right is the soup in my wok and my bowl has the noodles.

And here are the last two. That's gotta be somewhere in California, right? I'm pretty sure it was.

Here are some pictures I took of....California? Outside of LA? I can't remember now, but it was DEFINITELY just after takeoff and that was from Los Angeles.

Hell yeah, I'm blowing out my eardrums listening to badass elevator music and synthesizer ballads and all my Pixel Buds can do is sit and watch in abstract terror.

I redid the colors on my Pacman ghosts and I think it's funny that the ink is seeping through the Bandaids. Sorry, "adhesive strips". That's not something I would've guessed would happen.

Bliggity Pow! Yes it looks homemade, but I did it upside down and I've never done this before. I'll get better as I go on. I'm going to be covered in these by the end of the year.

This is on my leg, just above the knee. I'll clean the excess red and black up later, I'm going to let it settle first.

Did I just make the most perfect chicken tikka masala? Early reports are a "yes" but I'm still waiting on the rice to make an official judgement.

Even! spice stock is lighter, this is usually dark brown. I soaked cilantro, cardamom, cinnamon, peppercorn, and star anise
This gives the curries a little oomph.

Now the chicken is marinating. I put a little bit of food coloring in it to give it some pizzaz.

And here's the base after it cooked in the Instant Pot and then blended into a sauce. I usually burn the onions and it comes out dark brown, but this time I didn't burn them, now it's just brown from the spices.

Let's cook a curry!

First, I fried the onions until they were translucent, like so. Then I threw in a few spices and some water and now it's cooking in the Instant Pot. In the meantime, I'm making a spice stock on the stove and right now I'm just waiting for the water to boil.

Yeah, this is normal. Some of my saves are from....54 years ago.

So this is what I'm doing with my life now, I guess. Got a desktop humidor and a cigar sampler. It holds 100 but has 43 at the moment, which is probably enough. 🤣

And because I apparently refuse to live in 2023, I just pulled this out of the CD drive in my laptop.

Okay, let's ignore the big ass "you cheated" banner. I'm amazed that I killed more enemies than the level had. I'm not even that good at video games.

I've started this game over maybe a dozen times, with full intentions of finishing the story. But then I get sidetracked with hiring people and flying drones and breaking into places.
I'm notorious for being able to play a game for multiple hours without advancing the story or my progress.
I played Resident Evil Village for about 14 hours before I reached the end of the story, all because I was just walking around looking at stuff.
