@CLManussier most people are not "concerned about his age". that's a media talking point. Biden's biggest problems are he's boring (news can't make money rage farming off him) & Democrats really REALLY suck at getting any kind of messaging out on the accomplishments that actually real world help the people

Uh, sir, it may have been going on for weeks but, as you said, you just told us about it 2 days ago. Had it really been a priority, you would have told us about it weeks ago so it could have already been resolved. By your own admission, you waited until 2 days ago to bring it to our attention. You're just going to have to wait.
I'm going to have to attend a funeral this weekend for someone who was a pillar of the community. Former alderman. Former school teacher. Former assistant principal. Dreading this because the church will be packed.

"Dune: Part 2" did not disappoint. The theater was full and even the chatty couple sitting next to me stopped talking after only a few minutes. No small children and not a single cell phone screen was seen. These folks were there for the movie. #scifi
It has gone from 71°F at 6 AM to 52°F now and will be around 40°F in about 2 hours. This is some interesting weather we're having.

US capitalism was built on the backs of African slaves, historian Gerald Horne explained in this 2017 clip.
The professor and author of about 40 books said cotton exports to European textile mills were a significant source of profit for US slave owners. As such, slaves’ bodies were considered solid investments.
However, Britain abolishing its slave trade in 1807 didn’t deter entrepreneurs.

Wall Street, the symbol of US capitalism, is named after a wall that African slaves built at a slave auction site.

Is it just me, or did S02E04 of "Halo" have an unusually high body count of black actors? We lost <redacted> even though we were just introduced to him this season. We also lost <redacted> who has been on the show as a <redacted> from the start. Plus we lost <redacted> who has been on the show as <redacted> since the first season. Did <redacted> demand so much money to return to the show that the others had to go?

Despite hazardous working conditions, many states are rolling back child labor laws
It's amazing noone cares about this stuff anymore. If shareholder value is all that matters they might as well skip to the end and bring back slave labor. The only penalty would be a fine. Nobody would get voted out for allowing it. Partisans would blame the other guy.
