Short order and line cooks. My son is interviewing for a job as a line cook at a meditterean grill place. the only cooking experience he has is from making his meals at home.

@Bliss I never worked in food service but if this place is reputable and he lacks experience, if they hire him they should train him. I think at a specialty place like this they would have to train every cook how to make the dishes on their menu. He should express a willingness to learn during his interview if he wants the job.
