@mandolars Hi! This also surprised me at first and I had to adapt. You cannot directly search for text, you can just search hashtags. Try #digitalart, #digitalartist etc.

@aprilfirstart Faye Wong really has something unique and ethereal in her voice, and every single time I listen to this song I shiver.

The movie is beautiful albeit not too commercial, it combines two stories. Faye appears in the second one (she's the short haired waitress in the station bar).

@natharari I have a similar experience. I like both and will stay in both and not in Twitter (which I now only use for replies, not new original tweets). My feeling is Mastodon is a bit more slow motion and content-specific, while CoSo lives more in the moment. Also, it's easier to discover totally new stuff here, thanks to the Community firehose.

@ceorl Yes, and it's sad to find people on Twitter saying "I'm xxx at CoSo, follow me there!" just to see that their CoSo account has no posts and they tweet every hour. If you're going to say that, better say nothing and just keep tweeting.

My personal #Twitter migration tip: Try new places such as CounterSocial and post your original content in them.

On the old platform, take a look and maybe reply to one or the other post of people you know, but don't publish new original content.

It doesn't make sense to create new accounts elsewhere "just in case" and then leave them inactive.
