My personal migration tip: Try new places such as CounterSocial and post your original content in them.

On the old platform, take a look and maybe reply to one or the other post of people you know, but don't publish new original content.

It doesn't make sense to create new accounts elsewhere "just in case" and then leave them inactive.

Enjoy!

I feel a little sad for people who come just to "claim their name", but don't even seem to notice the community.

@ceorl Yes, and it's sad to find people on Twitter saying "I'm xxx at CoSo, follow me there!" just to see that their CoSo account has no posts and they tweet every hour. If you're going to say that, better say nothing and just keep tweeting.

@danidl
A lot of folks do like their media passively, like TV or streaming services.

Some of us, like gamers, prefer to get involved and make the story our own :)

CounterSocial is the first Social Network Platform to take a zero-tolerance stance to hostile nations, bot accounts and trolls who are weaponizing OUR social media platforms and freedoms to engage in influence operations against us. And we're here to counter it.
