That is the perfect play, Argentina! Way to do it right!
♥️

@candycatness I take part in both places after almost leaving Twitter. On Mastodon there are more people from all over the world. The interaction here is faster and more intense in CoSo, slower and sometimes deeper and more focused in the subject in Mastodon. I like both.

Ghost artistry: Masaki Kobayashi's spookily stylised KWAIDAN (1964) is "a film of a rare, hermetic beauty, full of ethereal images and errant ideas that will haunt the mind." Screens 5.40pm today, at NFT3 BFI Southbank

@DLoIndustries Yes we can. The details are somewhere in the guidelines but basically it's the camera icon. Can't look for the link to the details now, I'm at Ikea.

My two favorite singers in inuktitut, Riit and Aasiva collaborate in this beautiful and haunting song from Aasiva's second album.

Hello CoSo! I've been here for a few weeks now.

I'm a C++ programmer based in Vilassar de Mar, Catalonia, Spain. I like cinema, literature and music. I enjoy exchanging ideas about these topics and about life in general.

I'm 49 and I'm married to a wonderful woman. We have a cute little dog. I'm Christian. I respect all respectful ideas and beliefs. Happy to be here, thank you for your warm welcome!

@ceorl The verbal and nonverbal messages are combined, the director throws in some side message, the scenes are carefully set... so when things actually happen, they've been announced before somehow, or we understand them better because of the visual language previously displayed. This is the kind of cinema I love.

@ceorl Wow, I find some of the movies I still haven't seen there. Will give them a look!

When talking about Kenji Mizoguchi usually his masterpieces "Ugetsu" or "Sansho the Bailiff" come to mind, but his other works should not be overlooked. "A Geisha" (Gion Bayashi, Los músicos de Gion) is a wonderful story of two women who work as geishas, their values and their struggle, with a fascinating hidden message. A gem.

@JustJarv As with everything, it depends on tastes. For myself I found a slight pro of Mastodon: there are more users from other countries, for example my country, Spain, and more posts in Spanish and Catalan. On the down side however, interaction is very, very limited. So I can post in Spanish or Catalan... and nobody will read it. Overall it feels really weird. I'll give it a bit more time though.

On Twitter, most people I interacted with were nice.

On CounterSocial, all the people I interact with are nice.

On Mastodon, both people I interact with are nice.

Good afternoon from Spain! Yet another Chatmonchy song for today

@lgtwriter Thanks for explaining! I'm in Spain, where the laws are different. Musk is really trying hard to sink his new company!
