So, a lot of grumbling about Mastodon lately from some people - that's fine. I've been building up my Mastodon in the last few days and I use it differently than .

1) is more social. You get a following much faster and people seem to reply a lot quicker in general, though Mastodon is not unresponsive. site the opposite.

2) I use for activism and general chat. is more for tech stuff and some photo sharing. Not really activism in my circles.

So I like both. 😀

@natharari I have a similar experience. I like both and will stay in both and not in Twitter (which I now only use for replies, not new original tweets). My feeling is Mastodon is a bit more slow motion and content-specific, while CoSo lives more in the moment. Also, it's easier to discover totally new stuff here, thanks to the Community firehose.
