Some of the people that I respect most here have something of a rule that they should speak more often about.

They take ~72 hours to digest any major news event before reacting to it.

It is *sage* advice.

Little reminder: it's good to get outside for 20 minutes or so each day. It helps regulate your sleep cycles and helps generate vitamin D.

Even if it's cloudy, you're still getting much more light than indoors. Maybe step out at lunch. You'll feel better for it.

To be perfectly clear, there is no deliberation and no appeals process. Reported trolls disappear. Not days or weeks later, but immediately.

There's a long-running joke here that even mayflies marvel at the short lifespan of a CounterSocial troll. #CoSoTips

Just a quick reminder that CoSo is free. Yes, there are some paywalled features. Some of these were put behind a paywall to deter trolls. Others are value-adds.

But to put it in perspective, there are enough users here that pay willingly. Not because of the features, but because of the belief in this community. We want to see the community thrive, not because we want to have exclusive shinies.

Contrast that to another site considering adding a paywall for just an icon next to your name.

Impression so far of CounterSocial - like coming to a friendly small town where I know some people after living in a hustling big city for years. 🤠
