I wasn't alive when Paris was liberated (25 Aug. '44), but I sure would have loved to have been there. There was temporary but overwhelming joy in the midst of chaos and suffering. The war wasn't over by any means, but everyone could feel it would be.

Make sure you get all your paperwork --𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙞𝙩. I spent 5 years in healthcare information management; paper can be made to disappear. There's a whole lot of "cover your ass" in medicine, especially when it comes to drugs.

When I was a kid, I lived in Phoenix, and belonged to a model rocket club. Our "meetings" were in a huge church designed by Wright.
I was at Fallingwater in 1986, and then again in 1998 and 1999. In the 90s there was a big push for donations to repair concrete porches and decks because the original steel supports were not sufficient to bear the weight.
Been to Fallingwater, too. I used to live in SW PA, maybe 25 mins away from the site. What an extraordinary place THAT is!
