@Kitty62862 It's really a choice between insane rent in the city and crazy high property taxes + a mortgage in Dutchess / Westchester / Putnam (the other places I've lived in NY).
Unless you go all the way up to bumble****, the cost of housing is crazy.

@corlin NY rent doesn't make any goddamn sense. It's based on some cursed wizard math that has no relation to the cost of living or availability of jobs.
