I want to thank each and every one of you. For being here with us, in this time of forest fires. I and my close neighbors are safe. But many other are not. Please help if you can.
I feel a bit bad that I have not been posting all the juicy links, that I usually do. Been a bit busy.
I believe the worst is over. Although the fires are not contained, and continue to burn. The better weather is helping a lot.
Fuck "Normal". I don't want to return to normal.
Nature will not allow it.
I saw a bit of moisture being recorded in some of the regions. It has been cooler and moister here, although no precipitation. Nonetheless, that helps greatly.
It isn't over, however. The fires are still burning. The air is still terrible. And winds from the wrong direction could make things just as bad or worse.
We need a major shift in priorities and lifestyle to make this work for everybody. And fast.
