(Yes I know the rhythm of the prose is choppy... that is sort of on purpose)

Oh, I am only checking little details, not editing in the sense of providing content critiques... and I'm also not sure if there are stylistic or spelling differences in international English. There may be! I'll have to go with what I'm familiar with. :)

That was a really good story, I liked it a lot, and I love the metaphor of smoothies. My husband loves smoothies too. It's funny how some things taste different when you blend them up -- blending mustard greens makes them incredibly bitter.
I just cruised through and made a few suggestions but ONLY from a proofreading/nitpicking point of view, and they are only suggestions! I also could be quite wrong. But hopefully it helps. 💜 Will try to share now, it's a commented PDF.
