We managed to get in a for Little Miss Attitude and Mister Tan Man before the return of the soaking - and very welcome - rain this morning. Timing really is everything.

Good morning to all the and the hardworking humans who ensure that they’re living their best lives.

On yesterday’s afternoon , Mr. Tan Man shared my concern that someone had mowed down the “multiple pedestrian crossings” sign, thereby proving that such a sign was indeed warranted at that location.

A windy and sunny for Little Miss Attitude, and a “sniffle-fari” for mom as continue unabated.

Mr.Tan Man ushered in the month of May with a to the alligator hangout. “I don’t know, Momma” he said… “Somehow I don’t think we’re gonna see an alligator today. What? He’s where?? He’s right behind me? No way!”

Little Miss Attitude is usually completely unflappable, but last night’s display of lightning (not thunder, strangely) had her completely freaked out until I put on her ThunderShirt. She wasn’t bothered by this for the first 7 years we had her but in the last two years, we need to plan around her storm angst.

Jasmine vine beginning to bloom was a highlight of Mr. Tan Man’s morning .

Little Miss Attitude and I were definitely feeling the gray, cloudy vibe on our morning .

Today’s featured the fascination of a metal railing. One never knows what will entice Mr. Tan Man.

Good morning to everyone who is profoundly envious of their dogs’ ability to sleep for hours and hours on end.

Good morning to the , especially the big mutts who get us off the couch and out the door and keep us in good shape, physically and mentally.

Mr. Tan Man and I were so blissed out after smelling the honeysuckle on our morning that we thought that the gorgeous red fox that we saw moments later might have been a hallucination.

Good morning from the to the of who have endured unimaginable horrors, all the while trying to absorb the stresses of their beloved humans.

Little Miss Attitude and Mr. Tan Man enthusiastically embracing momma’s decision to take it easy today rather than going on their usual long walks.

Mr. Tan Man’s morning featured some weird spring weather, and even he knew that it was time for momma to stop taking photos of those mammatus clouds and head home.

We could all use some quiet time in the woods. Mr.Tan Man gets to enjoy this special pleasure on his daily which is equally therapeutic for me.

Mr. Tan Man had an unexpected surprise on this morning’s with the discovery of the season’s first honeysuckle vine. This harbinger of summer shows up earlier every year, and even Mr. Tan Man knows that is the culprit.

Today’s finds Mr. Tan Man sniffing out the most ironic location to do his “business.”

At age 12, Mr. Tan Man is slowing down a bit, but still maintaining his mile+ walk every morning. He has taught me a lot about stopping to smell the flowers, the trees, the pine needles, the leaves, the soil, and the stones.
