North Carolina has shattered 2020 early voting totals, and we still have the rest of today to go! Here are the totals through yesterday. 53% of our registered voters have voted, most through in-person early voting, the remainder by absentee ballots returned to date. There are still 242,295 absentee ballots pending return, so these numbers are truly EPIC! THANKS to our awesome board of elections officials and all the staff and volunteers - and determined VOTERS - who have made this possible!

That will be interesting!
*Typically* early votes lean D, creating a "red wave" as election day votes are counted. But this election is anything but typical.
First-time and infrequent voters tend to vote on election day, and tend to vote D. So with the massive GOTV effort, I'm fairly hopeful for a blue win! 🤞
Spectacular effort. Buncombe County (Asheville area) texts me daily even though I canceled my NC registration before I left.
Seems to be driving them nuts I haven’t voted yet as I did in every single election.
I know it’s algorithm but delights me.
This is awesome! So happy to be a new NC citizen and part of it.
@cassandra17lina It will be *very* interesting to see how this translates in the results. Is it a big swing to one side or the other, or a roughly equal amount of votes for both parties?
